I was so lucky to have been referred to Pat for the purchase of my 2nd home. "I had made a decision that I wanted to buy a home in Frederick County because I enjoyed the beautiful rural landscape.  The only problem was I didn't know where I wanted to buy.  I contacted Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and asked if there was someone I could speak with about real estate in Frederick County.  I was fortunate that Pat Vasold happened to be available.  When I met Pat I told him the style home I wanted, but I had no idea where to look.  Pat took me on a tour of Frederick City.  He took me to Old Town, an area I instantly fell in love with!  After lunch we walked to the tourist center to pick up brochures so I could learn more about the city and the county.   He even took me to the main office of the Frederick County Public Schools because I mentioned I wanted to pick up an application for employment.  I felt connected to this new part of the state in one afternoon because Pat had taken the time to show me around and acclimate me to the area.  A couple of weeks later I told Pat I was hired to teach at New Market Elementary School.  He called me a little while later and said he thought he found the home I was looking for.  He took me to see it the first day it was available, and I instantly fell in love with it!  It was a cute Cape Cod sitting on a nice size yard...a perfect match to the house of my dreams!  The only problem was two other potential buyers put a contract on it, too.  Pat was smart enough to suggest we do an escalation clause which allowed me to add on to my initial bid if I were to get outbid by either of them.  I did get outbid, but thankfully, I was able to win the contract because of this clause!  Eventually we went to closing.  Everything went without a hitch.  He even came over that day to my new home to install a new door lock because he felt I needed a better lock on my front door! 

Pat is a gem!  He took a personal interest in me as a client.    He knew my time was valuable and only showed me homes he knew I would be interested in.  I love my little home in New Market, and I have enjoyed exploring Frederick County."
